Genealogy Records
The Jackson County Clerk's office is grateful to the genealogy volunteers and the service that they provide. When volunteers are not available, a Vital Records clerk can assist you with limited requests. Please allow up to 30 days for staff to research and respond.
Birth records over 100 years old are not restricted and certified copies can be issued. The cost is $15 for the first certified copy, and $5 for each additional of the same record.
A birth record less than 100 years old can be released to an heir of a deceased person with proof of lineage.
