2025-2029 5-YEAR PARKS AND RECREATION PLAN
Public Review Period:
December 7, 2024 – January 7, 2025
Notice is hereby given to any and all interested parties that Jackson County is seeking public comment on its 2025-2029 5-Year Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The required 30-day public review and comment period will begin on December 7, 2024 and will end on January 7, 2025. Jackson County Parks is preparing this 5-Year Parks and Recreation Plan in accordance with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) requirements. When completed, this Plan will serve as a guide for the development of community recreation facilities and programs over the next 5 years. Beginning on December 7, 2024, the draft 5-Year Parks and Recreation Plan is accessible online at: JacksonCounyParks.org. A physical copy of the draft plan is also be available at the Jackson County Parks office at the American 1 Event Center (128. W. Ganson St., Jackson MI 49201) during normal business hours.
