Overview

The Veterans Affairs Committee's primary responsibility is to check verification of burial claims, set policies of Veterans Office, Veterans Affairs Committee to be informed of veterans legislation - old and new, and assess the budget.

The length of term is 4 years and appointments are made in March.

Members must be recommended through the local veterans organization. Applicants must submit with their application the Recommendation for Appointment form from a chartered veterans organization and their DD214 form.
