Telephone access is provided to all inmates between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., and is an outgoing collect call or Securus inmate calling card. Collect called are charged to your home service. If you do not want to pay for the telephone call, do not accept the operator assisted request (there is a pre-call advising that the telephone call is being routed from a correctional facility). The Jackson County Jail will not receive any incoming telephone calls or messages for inmates!
After you leave your voicemail, your incarcerated loved one will automatically be notified that they have a voicemail waiting
If you are experiencing trouble receiving collect calls, contact your phone carrier or contact the Customer Assistance Center at 800-844-6591.
Calling cards can be purchased 24 hours a day ($10 and $20) through vending machines that are located at both jails.
