FREE Fridays ALL summer! Thank you to Alro Steel for celebrating 75 years in the Jackson Community with us!
If you’re looking for a fun-filled, bucket list-type day, we’ve got a solution for you. With more than a dozen water features, highlighted by the giant dumping bucket, this provides an opportunity for children and families to cool off on a hot summer day. The splash pad is situated in a fenced in area on the south side of the historic Cascades Fall in Sparks Foundation County Park, and includes lounge chairs and a patio area. There are on-site concessions, and Cascades Ice Cream is, of course, just around the corner.
The Cascades has traditionally been an evening facility, but the splash pad brings activity to the daylight hours. Normal Splash Pad Hours are 11 a.m. -7 p.m. (Monday-Saturday) Noon-6 p.m. (Sunday). Wednesday Family Nights, which include live music and characters, have extended hours of 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Regular Admission Rate (ages 4 and up) is $2.00, Children’s Rate (ages 3 & under) free. Regular Cascades admission rates take effect at 7 p.m.
Jackson County Parks is also offering Season Passes and Group Rates for the Splash Pad. Individual Season Passes are $20.00; Family memberships are $75.00 (limited to 2 adults and up to 4 children 18 years of age and under living in the same household). Splash Pad Group Rates 20-50 $1.75/person, 50 and up 1.50/person. Those interested in group rates are asked to call ahead Mon – Fri at 517-788-4320.
A special thank you to our donors. Thank you for contributing to this project, and for improving the quality of life for children in our community.
